Superman Comes Quietly in New ‘Man of Steel’ Handcuff Shot
By Andy Khouri“Unlocked” Monday morning by way of some arcane social media campaign on the The Dark Knight Rises Facebook page, a new still photograph from Man of Steel shows Superman in what seems to be a spot of trouble with the law. My first thought was that the authorities are finally busting Kal-El for his truly egregious violations of bro-code, but then I remembered that Man of Steel is not actually a sequel to Superman Returns. Perhaps the U.S. armed forces have shackled and detained the last son of Krypton for the crime of being an alien, because in America we just hate that.

While light pollution of nearby cities dominates more than half of the horizon, the sky toward the Atlantic Ocean (south to east) is dark all the way to the horizon. Band of the Summer Milky Way cross the night sky from the south west to the north east.
